Sloppy built product.
It was usable but it looked like a 2 year old had put it together. It was crooked. The 2 parallel support bars were not parallel and the 4 top bars were not evenly spaced.
Robert's Comment; We would be happy to replace the unit is you like.

It has greatly improved my Drolet insert's performance. Just need to cut off an inch or so off front and back tines to make it easier to get logs into opening.

We purchased the 16 steel bar grate knowing that we would have to cut it down to fit our rather old #1 Portland stove. Its cast iron grate had oxydized badly, the center bars had disappeared, and it required great care in use.
By cutting the rear extensions of the new grill flush with the legs, it fits perfectly and will give us several years of good service.
Our home is in northern Vermont, so our need for a wood stove is not for ornamentation.

It's just a tad too small for my stove, but that's not your fault. Anyway, it's working out fine. It arrived in good shape and seems very sturdy.

This product was EXACTLY what I needed. The picture was acurate, the size was exactly right. The delivery was very quick, even with it being ordered in the Christmas rush season.
