Fantastic buy!
This grate is exactly the right size for my wood burning stove. It is large enough to hold plenty of wood for a good, hot fire and allow for ample air flow. It is small enough to easily remove so that I can clean out the stove. I use my stove to heat my entire house so I am burning almost constantly in the winter. This grate has held up wonderfully to the heavy logs that I burn and shows no signs of wearing out or cracking. Definitely worth the money!

excellent product with terrific service
Bought this fireplace grate to replace the basic "contractor's special" that was in our fireplace. The new grate keeps more of the wood and embers, which keeps the fire more controlled and hotter. Product was shipped quickly and arrived in good condition with recyclable cardboard for packing material. Would highly recommend Northline and this fireplace grate.

GREAT grate!!
GREAT grate! Fits our pre-fab fireplace nicely, heavy duty construction. Holds the coals instead of letting them fall through the grate like the "other" one did. Highly recommended!! Can't wait for the cool weather!

Good fit for oue fireplace insert. Last one lasted quite a few winters. We use our fireplace almost every day during the fall and winter season.

It fit our fireplace perfectly. Looked exactly like the old one that we replaced. Have had many fires since the purchase and it holding up just great.

I bought this cast iron grate for use in our Fireplace Extraordinaire this is essentially a wood stove disguised as a fireplace insert. Previous mild- steel welded grates would, in short order, melt and sag under the intense long-term heat of our fireplace/stove in short order the grates would be useless.
This grate has worked out exceptionally well: it fits perfectly holds more wood than the welded steel grates holds up well to the intense heat and is quality crafted Made In The USA!. In short, this is a great grate.
