Excellent
American Made was my first thought for buying this grate, and as it turns out, it was a fantastic choice! A nice heavy duty grate that withstands the abuse. And prompt shipping too!
I was buying the cheap grates "Landmann" from Lowes and Home Depot (thats all they carry in their stores in the south), and within a half a dozen uses the bottom-center of Landmann was touching the fireplace floor. The Landmann just doesn't stand up to the heat and the weigh of the larger logs.
Thank you Northline, this was my first purchase from you folks, and I'll be back!

This grate is GREAT!! Very sturdy and high enough off the ground that I don't have to remove it to clean the ashes under it - or at least my husband doesn't have to!!

So far it seems to be doing outstandingly well. We have a fire going almost nonstop and the old grates would start showing wear from the heat almost immediately, where this one is showing no wear yet. It's also got great capacity for plenty of bigger logs!
