Simpson Dura-Vent Type B Gas Vent is designed to meet the rugged demands of the job site. The inner wall is recessed to eliminate damage in handling. Type B Gas Vent has been engineered to heat up rapidly. It remains hot during the operation f the appliance with minimal condensation in the appliance and vent system. Type B Gas Vent is not suitable for use with wood-burning or coal applications, industrial ovens, exhaust ranges and hoods, grease or pollution ducting, or as free-standing exhaust vents for high temperature applications.

Great Value & Quality

I needed a decorative collar for a custom pipe installation - the inner diameter was slightly small (the other option was a collar that was too large) - I used tin snips to cut tabs, then folded over the tabs, and finished the resize job by hammering the folds flat to enlarge the inner diameter to fit my pipe. After prepping the surface, this galvanized collar easily took several coats of black stove paint, and looks very nice. Couldn't be happier with the quality or price.
