3 Fold Child Guard Fireplace Screen

Works perfect

I've had this screen in front of the fireplace for a couple of months now and it works just fine keeping my 14 mo old away. It won't hold up to excessive leaning of a toddler against is, but I'm very happy with the purchase. It's very light weight, easy to install and once spring rolls around, easy to fold up and store away.

Bad Design - Not a good solution

This looks like a good solution, but it takes up way too much space. It can be easily pushed over and it gets hot. Not an adequate solution for childproofing, i.e. not safe. I wouldn't even recommend trying it as the company does not give full refunds, you'd be lucky to get $50 back.

Robert's comment: We do give a 100% refund less the cost of shipping. I agree, this is a lesser quality product for child guard and would recommend the Kidco brand which is priced accordingly as well.

We got this screen to child-proof our gas fireplace. It works great and looks good it's nice to see the fire through the thin mesh. However, it could be pushed over by our toddler, so it required anchoring to the wall to be stable.
