Good rods with the 6" heavy duty poly brush
Used them with the 6" poly brush. Worked well. Got coated with creosote so use gloves you can throw away or use exclusively for cleaning chimney.

sturdy
1st time I ever cleaned a chimney. After considering alternatives, I chose the heavier rod and after using think it will provide a much longer life than thinner rods. Products more than paid for themselves after first use. (internet search estimate $79-200 each cleaning) Easiest money I ever made. Now I own the stuff and the next one is free.

Well worth the purchase
These rods are great! Have just enough flexability to clean from bottom up in a staright pipe yet rigid enough to push the entire length without bending! Wonderful purchase!

I purchased these because the ones I bought at HD were too flexible and would not allow me to exert full force to get the brush down. When i got these i was able to push the brush down no problem. They did fray a little when rubbed, but no big deal. Highly recommended for long straight runs. I have a flexible metal liner and use a poly brush.

Very good product and highly recommended. The fiberglass material did fray a bit when rubbing against the chimney liner - so wear gloves.

Worked great and sturdy connections, well worth buying the rods and brush and doing it myself each year for a fraction of paying someone to come out

Very nice rods with just the right flexibility for round flues.
