Fine option for occasional use
These are the first chimney brush rods I've ever owned, and I've used them all of once so I'm not the most expert reviewer. That said, they worked fine for my 25' liner which is mostly a straight shot of rigid pipe with a mild S-curve of flex at the bottom. The heavy-duty poly brush I used them with dropped through the rigid pipe easily, and the rods were rigid enough to push the brush through the more resistant flex even at 25'. Five-foot rods are long enough to be awkward to handle if you feel at all precarious on your roof or ladder, so a larger number of shorter rods might be a better choice. Having 25' of these linked together gets to be rather heavy, too, which matters since you have to support the assembled rod with one hand while screwing on the next section with the other. Having done it once, I can see the appeal of the quick-connect fittings and also wish for a lighter rod material, but these are fine for occasional homeowner use.

Fine product nullified by terrible customer service.
The rods themselves are strong, durable and are of high quality. When I ordered them, they were on a "14 day" backorder. I received them finally, after 5 weeks. I was told on 3 seperate occasions, through emails and a call, that my rods had just come in and would be shipped the following day. I am happy with the product and value, but due to the bad customer service, I will never use Northline again. And I call them Northline because there was nothing express about my order.
Robert's Comment; We do run out of product on occasion and with 10,000 items it's not an easy task to stock everything all the time. However, I do agree that we need to improve on our forecasting for stock items and we are diligently working on that. I appreciate your comments.
