First Impressions- Quick Ship, Very well packaged with no damage at all.
Very heavy and well crafted pipe, and 90 elbow, that actually comes with the screws!!
Easy install. Short time to "cure" finish took me maybe 15min small fire, not near as bad as burning off that cheap snap seam junk.
I highly recommend this product if you are looking for Great value, while at the same time insuring the safety of your family.

    • I have a wood stove - I just moved into a house with a brick and mortar fireplace , I want to install the wood stove "inside" the fireplace ,( like an insert ) I have approximately 15 feet to the top of the chimney or flue , i want to cap that and place a spark arrester on it as well - what is the best solution for this project - the flue tile opening is 10" , i would like to use a 6" pipe , the opening on top of the stove is 8" ( I have a reducer attached ) - the reason i ask this , is because the last home i lived in , i had the same stove hooked up in the same type of chimney - at that time all i had was a "flue kit " which consisted of a 6' SS pipe that went up 6' into and past the smoke chamber - the kit also had a flue block off kit - so the surrounding of the pipe at the flue wasn't just open to the elements - the system worked well , and hardly dirtied the chimney itself -and the reason i want to run the pipe all the way to the flue opening with a cap , is because this chimney doesn't have a flue - maybe all I need is a kit like the last one I had , but this is a rental house , if i owned it outright , i would do it my way ,but since its somebody elses home , then i would like to protect the chimney as much as I can and reduce any chances of a chimney fire - or am i just bein to cautious here - any suggestions ?

    • Hi, could you supply an engineering drawing of this pipe so I can see the exact configuration and dimentions of the pipe end flanges. The picture doesn't really help much so I have no way of knowing if it will fit my installation. Also, how do I determine shipping charges? Thanks.
    • Thank you for your email. The Stove Bright comes in 12oz spray cans. The only colors that come in a brush or roll on pint can are as follows, Satin Black,Charcoal, Metallic Brown, Goldenfire Brown, and Metallic Black. This product does not come in any larger can sizes.

    • I'm installing an EPA square steel plate stove with your super vent seilling support and chimney system so would like to use your black single wall safety pipe, but I have seen no provisions for a damper in the pipe. I would like to put one in for safety purposes, is that going to be problem?
    • Hi Jim, We do not have a damper for Selkirk heatfab safe-t pipe, but we do carry the damper in the Selkirk DSP Pipe, item code: 5SE-DSP-6DK Thank you
