Looks nice, easy to load with the shovel and dump ashes when it's full. Was missing some hardware in the package, but Northline sent replacements swiftly.

Well built, but had to bent a leg to get it to sit flat. I clean my ashes out of my Woodstock Fireview once a week, and though this seem relatively small, it usually will hold a full weeks worth of ashes. It is just the right height to sit under the loading door though you have to be sure to fill it from the back to front.

More than enough room to empty my fireplace and easy to transfer to a permanent place. The handle in back not shown here makes it easy to tip and dump the ash. I store it on tile, at the side and in plain view. I rarely need to place hot coals in it however when I have, there is no fear of storing them.

can you believe it, this is the fourth Ash Holder that I have purchased, one for myself and the other three as gifts. I love it. It is attractive, roomy and yet compact.
I highly reccommend this as the best little ashholder you can buy.
