racks will rate the amount of wood they hold by using the term face cord.
A face cord refers to the first row of a full cord which measures 8' wide
x 4' high x 18" deep. A full cord of firewood measures 8' wide x 4'
high x 4' deep. The depth of a face cord may vary depending on the
person who is cutting the wood, most people cut firewood in lengths of 16"
to 18". Please check to see that you are purchasing a firewood rack
accordingly.
