The Cheetah II Ash Vacuum was designed for safe, clean and convenient cleaning of ash out of fireplaces, wood stoves, pellet stoves and bio fuel (corn and wheat) stoves. It has been one of the best selling ash vacuum for more than 20 years. The Ash-Vac features a 5' flame-resistant hose, 3-gallon capacity container and a powerful 6-amp motor. Comes with a one year warranty and includes one set of filters. This unit is 20" high, has a 1-1/4" diameter hose opening, and holds up to 3 gallons of ash.

"No Mess" truly describes this ash vacuum. Clean your fireplace or wood stove in seconds. Forget about dirty hands, dirty ashes flying around the room and shoveling ashes. The ash vac is designed to remove warm to cold ashes from everything from wood stoves to barbecues. The patented filtration system is designed for the cleanest possible removal of ash. The dual filters are specially engineered to capture the finest ash particles to keep your house clean and smelling fresh. The Cheetah II uses a filter system consisting of two filters. The first filter is flame retardant for precautionary reasons. The second filter traps sub-micron particles (ash) and has a special snap spring assembly allowing for easier cleaning. You can even clean the filters without opening the canister so no ash has a chance to escape. All you do it jiggle the agitator rod on the lid to knock ash off the filters. The canister stays closed.

Product Note: This vacuum is meant for cool and warm ashes only; it cannot be used to pick up embers. Doing so will result in damage to the unit.

We do recommend changing the Ash Vacuum filters once a season. They cannot be washed because they have been treated with a Teflon finish. If you wash them they will get sticky. You can clean the filters after each use by removing the rod cover and shaking the shaker basket by grasping the metal rod sticking up out of the lid from side to side. This is just done if you are losing suction but your canister is not full of ash yet.

Does good job of removing ash from our pellet stove, although wish I paid the extra $20 for the quieter model. It's a little hard to angle the tools to reach all the interior areas.

I am a first year pellet stove user. At first, I was considering using an ash can and brush to clean the stove. But after seeing the Cheetah II Ash Vacuum I decided to get it and I am VERY glad I did. Makes the cleanup of the stove fast, easy and neat. I would recommend this product to anyone with a wood or pellet stove.

This was my first Ash Vac I have ever purchased. I find this to work very well, but the only thing I have to say is it is very loud you don't want to run this while someone is sleeping but it sure can clean a stove super fast. I would and have recommended this to friends.
