The HomeSaver Pro Galvanized Chimney Cap is designed with a modified, 18-ga. galvanized steel base to fit square, round, rectangle, or oval flue tiles. The lid of the cap is hand-finished with smooth, rolled edges and constructed of 24-ga. galvanized steel. The HomeSaver Pro Cap is surrounded by an 8" High, 3/4" mesh screen to offer protection against harsh weather conditions and animal invasion. Advanced weld nut technology eliminates the possibility of stripped threads to ensure stress free installation.

The chimney cap was delivered by UPS very quickly. It was securely packed, and very substantially constructed and painted. The adjustable clamps made the installation a snap on an old chimney that was out of square. Very pleased.

Much better quality and at a better price that I found locally. And, the guy that built the fireplace was impressed, said he's used to seeing caps not square and not as well made.
