Poker-Style Controls For Vestal Dampers - Poker-Style Controls come standard with the Vestal Cast-Iron Fireplace Dampers. The Poker-Style Control measures 12" in overall length. It consists of a "catch" piece that bolts to the damper frame, and a control arm which attaches to the damper plate with a cotter pin (provided). Moving the hole in the control arm regulates the width of the damper opening. Some like this for it's simplicity while others prefer the Rotary-Style Control.

The damper control I purchased was an exact replacement for the broken damper control in the home I recently purchased.
