Use elbows to offset around obstructions such as rafters, ridgepoles, or joists. Large diameters are restricted to one pair of elbows. Offsets greater than 30? are not permitted in accordance to UL 103 standards. Fasten with screws.

With a Thermal Tech blanket insulation encased between duel walls,DuraTech offers superior safety and performance. It keeps the outer wall cool while ensuring high flue gas temperatures for optimum draft performance. The inner wall is 25% thicker than competitive chimneys, for an extra margin of safety. DuraTech chimney is tested and listed for continuous operation at 1000°F flue gas temperatures, one hour at 1400°F and ten minutes at 1700°F, in accordance with the UL 103 test standard.
