6" DuraTech Chimney Caps are required where the pipe terminates above the roofline. This DuraTech Chimney Cap is made of stainless steel and designed to twist-lock on to the chimney pipe. Removable screws allow for cleaning of the chimney and the spark arrestor screen. Shown with optional spark arrestor screen (sold separately).
6" DuraTech Storm Collars are aluminum constructed chimney components that slip around the pipe just above the flashing used in through-the-roof installations. The inner edge of the Storm Collar is sealed to the chimney pipe with a non-hardening 500 degree F high-temperature sealant.
6" DuraTech Square Ceiling Support Boxes are used to support chimney pipe and provide a positive connection between the support box and the chimney pipe with a built-in twist lock feature. This ceiling support is suitable for both flat and cathedral ceiling applications and it can also be used in short attic spaces. Designed for appliances that are tested and listed for use with a 2100 Degree F HT chimney system, such as woodstoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, stoves, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas. This Ceiling support fits between 16" on center joists and most mobile home applications and supports up to 60' of DuraTech Chimney. A 2" wide trim collar is included.
6" DuraTech Roof Flashings are used to weather proof the penetration of chimney pip through the roof. A storm collar is required (not included). Select the proper roof flashing based on the pitch of the roof. For example, a 6/12 pitch has a vertical rise of 6" over a horizontal distance of 12".
