    • i have a free standing buck wood fire place with a 8' flute on top , i want to reduce it to 6' through the roof , would this be the best chioce?
    • Thomas, I would like to start out by saying that it is not recommended to reduce your flu size because doing so can increase your chance for back draft (smoke coming into your home). It can also cause you to not have proper drafting and trouble starting your fires. However, if you are going to reduce from a 6-8" flue I would recommend using this adapter that you have selected.
