The NPS40 is constructed of a solid cast iron build with a clean glass air wash system to provide efficiency and aesthetics. Equipped with a variable speed auger and blower to provide maximum comfort and a controlled burn, the NPS40 features heavy-duty, 1/8” thick, seamless heat exchange tubes to radiate heat back into the room even after the stove is shut down. Entertaining yellow flame presentation is achieved with a high velocity and strategically positioned burn pot that produces aerodynamic pellet distribution within the stove.
The NPS40 is easily operated with an automatic igniter and just as simple to fuel with a convenient top, front pellet load. The controls on the NPS40 are easily accessible with an uncluttered push open panel while a hinged door protects the combustion chamber for routine maintenance without the use of tools. A built-in heat exchange cleaner rod maintains the cleanliness and efficiency of the heat exchange tubes to keep the unit operating with the capability of meeting the highest standards with every burn. A four stage FAILSAFE system offers piece of mind and protection against harmful and costly accidents with an automatic blower override switch, a high temperature limit switch, a low air pressure switch, and a power failure safety shut down.

Owner's Manual
The President's Limited Lifetime Warranty protects your fireplace for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Specific parts covered by the Lifetime Warranty include: the combustion chamber heat exchanger, stainless steel burner, logs, ceramic glass against thermal breakage, gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelain enameled surfaces and aluminum extrusion trim. Wearable components such as blowers, gas valves, etc. will be warranted for the first year. During the first year, the warranty does provide a labor allowance for Napoleon authorized dealers only.
