The 1400PL Leg Model features a primary bottom air feed to assist in cold start ups and to revive a dying fire. A secondary air tube insulated with ceramic fibre and protected with a stainless steel cover plate ensures complete combustion. Wrap around side shields add a delicate balance of elegance and functional practicality helping to disperse heat evenly and reduce the clearance to combustibles. These shields play a big part in the safety of the unit keeping the outer shell cooler to the touch. Full, unobstructed view of the fire is achieved by an effective air wash system which in combination with high firebox temperatures keeps the viewing glass clean.

A fully refractory lined firebox maintains the interior temperatures necessary to achieve low emissions. Cool air is circulated around the firebox, heated, and then returned back into the room. The 1400PL Leg Model is easily controlled and operated with a single lever burn control to regulate primary and secondary air to establish a perfect mixture and clean burn.

The President's Limited Lifetime Warranty protects your fireplace for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Specific parts covered by the Lifetime Warranty include: the combustion chamber heat exchanger, stainless steel burner, logs, ceramic glass against thermal breakage, gold plated parts against tarnishing, porcelain enameled surfaces and aluminum extrusion trim. Wearable components such as blowers, gas valves, etc. will be warranted for the first year. During the first year, the warranty does provide a labor allowance for Napoleon authorized dealers only
