The insulated flexible aluminum pipe consists of a 5" diameter pipe to fit snuggly around the adapter increasing the venting efficiency of your wood stove. Use the terminal supplied to cap the hole in the exterior wall and the pipe clamps to connect the pipe, the adapter and the wall terminal. If you choose to draw fresh air from the floor, make sure that it directly connects to the exterior of the house and that air circulates well enough to insure a proper supply of oxygen at all times. The Insulated Fresh Air Pipe is made of aluminum with heat insulating wool.

    • Is there a limit as to how far I can go with an insulated fresh air intake pipe for a wood stove to a fresh air source? Stove calls for only 3" pipe I thinking of going with 4" but it is 16' to outside wall.
    • As long as you keep the intake vent lower than the stove you shouldn't have a problem with the 16' length since you will have some natural draft.
