cool weather has suppressed insects in N> California...therefore my data is not valid. I will tell you how the dynatrap works in august.

It traps moths, flies, wasps, and some mosquitoes. I've had it for a month and I get stung by mosquitoes while I watch it. Its a great night light for the garage but a substandard mosquito killer.

This product has worked very well for me. It was a replacement for the same product I had purchased about 3 years ago. The only negative comment I have is that I was disappointed that I had to replace it after only 3 seasons of use.

I am very happy with the trap. If you turn it on just before dusk, it makes a huge difference in the mosquito population. It's also very quiet. Would definitly recomend to anyone, thanks.

I have purchased two of these for in-home after using a different brand. They are very quiet and effective. There isn't an easy way to empty the trap, so I make sure all the bugs are dead first by spraying a light mist on them.

This item functioned very well, I would recommend to anyone. I did have a problem where the bulbs went out after three months. The srevice from Dynatrap was excellent and two new bulbs were sent to me at no charge. The Company and its product has to be rated at 100%.

The Dyna Trap Eliminator is just amazing. From the first day we hung up the unit we noticed a decline on flying insects. Over the first 4 days we had flies,beetles,gnats and mosquitos in the trap. It's very easy to clean,just a pile of dehydrated insects. I even dumped the first pile on a flat stone and within minutes birds reduced the pile to nothing. Great product and even greater customer service from ordering to receiving . Job well done NorthlineExpress. 5 stars.

Purchased one unit and it worked so well that I purchased a second for the other part of the yard. I empty the trap each week and there is a huge collection of bugs. Be prepaired all kinds of bug are collected, moths, mosquitos,flys,bees etc. Best way I have found to empty the trap is to turn the unit off, slide a bag over the trap from the bottom. Grab the cup from the bottom and just turn it into the bag, then put the cup back on, tie off the bag. The reason I found to do it this way is because there are still live bugs in the trap, and as soon as you open it they fly out at you.

I love it. I use it in our run-in shed to keep the fly and mosquito population down. I tried a zapper light, but the noise scared the horses. This is quiet and easy to use.

We live in Florida and have dogs, and therefore lots of sliding-glass-door-opening. We are using it inside, and we found lots of little flying critters including mosquitoes both times we have emptied it. Even a useful night-light!:

The dynatrap works quite well for mosquitos. I have a heavily wooded lakefront property in Minnesota and it is infested with mosquitos. I run three Skeetervac's and the dynatrap. I find that the best catch results come from the Skeetervac with the highest fan speed. The dynatrap catch is comparable to the other skeetervac units I have running which all produce a considerable yield each week. The primary benefit of the Dynatrap is the low operating cost and simplicty of operation. There is no propane expense and hassle, and no need for Octenol. The bulbs need to be replaced but the cost is low compared to the combined cost for propane/octenol units. I plan to purchase a couple more of these units for next season to expand coverage on the property. Highly recommended.

I bought this unit for mosquito reduction/elimination. Based on performance to date I do not think it is effective for mosquitos. It is however good for moths.

Works great, attracts a lot of insects and sucks them in. Cleaning the trap is sometimes a challenge, because there is no way to close it before cleaning so once you take it off all those still alive insects just simply fly away. Be aware that bulbs last only for a month or so, so get replacements right away. I am using it in combination with SkeeterVac SV3100 to have a skeeter free back yard.

I purchased this project since I was having a family reunion at my home. Three sides of my home are forest perserve and the bugs are awful. The party started at 1pm on a Saturday and broke up at 10pm. Fifty of us stayed outside he whole time and none of us complained about misquito bites. In fact everyone mentioned where are the bugs. The DynaTrap was worth he money and I would reommend it to anyone who enjoys the outside.

This unit is portable & easy to install. It's also quiet and unobtrusive. I would rate as 50-60% effective against mosquitoes and no-seeums. It captures more moths and other non-biting insects as far I can tell after cleaning the trap. Having said that, it makes a noticeable difference, especially when paired with a good ceiling fan!

Quiet and effective. We live by the water and have mosquitos in the house from April on. I would highly recommend this product for indoor use. I have not tried it outdoors as of yet.

We live in Florida. We have lots of orchids that stay outside when not blooming and come in while blooming. We frequently have mosquito hatches inside the house due to bringing in the plants. We didn't want to spray toxins in the house. The dyna trap is working great. It is working so well I bought another last night to cover a different part of the house.
