Minuteman Modern Fireplace Door Stock Sizes
Step 1: Choosing the Right Size Fireplace Door.
Follow the steps below for assistance in measuring your fireplace opening.
- 1 - Start by measuring the width of the fireplace opening. All measurements
should be to the nearest 1/16" of an inch. Measure the top and then the
bottom width. If you find that your fireplace is not consistent in the measurement
(wider at the bottom and narrower at the top for example) you should use
the narrowest measurement. Do the same for the height, measuring both the
left and right side. Again use the narrowest measurement for the height.
- 2 - Once you have your fireplace opening measurements, use the Opening
Width and Opening Height columns to locate the correct from/to measurements
from the chart below to find the correct size door. (Example: Your
fireplace opening dimensions measure 35 5/16" Wide x 28 11/16" High. You
would select the 38" Wide x 30" High door.)
