Step 1: Size*

Timeless Fireplace Door Stock Sizes

Follow the steps below for assistance in measuring your fireplace opening.

1 - Start by measuring the width of the fireplace opening. All measurements should be to the nearest 1/16" of an inch. Measure the top and then the bottom width. If you find that your fireplace is not consistent in the measurement (wider at the bottom and narrower at the top for example) you should use the narrowest measurement. Do the same for the height, measuring both the left and right side. Again use the narrowest measurement for the height.

2 - Once you have your fireplace opening measurements, use the Opening Width and Opening Height columns to locate the correct from/to measurements from the chart below to find the correct size door.

Important Note: Something very important to note on the Timeless door is the option of adding a mesh kit. If this optional mesh kit is chosen, this will effect the door you choose. With the mesh kit installed, you need to raise your fireplace opening height by 1 inch. (Example: Your fireplace opening dimensions measure 36" Wide x 25" High and you do not select the mesh kit, you would select the 40" Wide x 25" High door. Now taking those same fireplace opening dimensions, 36" Wide x 25" High (+1" to the height, gives you 26" High), and you add the mesh kit then you would select the 40" Wide x 29" Door.)

The Timeless Fireplace Door is perfect for those looking for a quality glass door at a great price. It is constructed of heavy-duty steel and features bi-fold trackless doors, preferred by most for easy cleaning. The top and bottom panels of the Timeless Fireplace door are decorated with an ornate filigree design, and features slide draft controls allowing you to control your fires with ease.

The Timeless comes with your choice of 3/16" clear or smoked glass with an optional mesh curtain. Heavy-duty magnets hold the doors closed while allowing for easy operation. Polished brass handles and draft slide Knobs are available as well.

The frame measures 3 3/8" on each side, 2" on top (the filigree measures another 2 3/8"), and 2 3/8" on Bottom. Insulation is included with every door along with all necessary mounting hardware making this door a great buy.

The Timeless Fireplace Door is a stock door for a masonry fireplace
(not a prefabricated factory built fireplace)
and is designed for an overlap fit.
