The Z-Classic Glass Door is a solid brass custom enclosure with a 1" wide frame
for a pre-fabricated, factory built fireplace (not a masonry fireplace) and is designed
for an inside fit only. The Z-Classic installs into a recessed area on your fireplace
opening. When ordering a custom zero-clearance enclosure, you will need to have
the make and model of your enclosure. Your make and model should be on a metal tag
inside your fireplace, usually near the upper front.
Note: The Z-Classic is designed to fit specific fireplaces and will mount inside
the fireplace opening into a recessed area.The firebox must be reasonably square
for a Z-Classic door to operate properly and if you have covered the opening of
your fireplace with tile, brick, etc. then the door may not go into the recessed
area at all.
