Rutland's 3 inch Pellet Stove/Dryer Vent Brush with a 20' Flexible Handle is designed to navigate a sharp turning radius without getting caught in elbows, offsets, etc. This specially designed brush & rod combo is for cleaning pellet stoves and dryer vents. The brush filament is 0.020 inch poly. The ball on the end of the brush helps to get around sharp turns, elbows, etc.

The brush was exactly what was needed to clean the flu on our Ashley Pellet Stove and our dryer vent. Certainly beats paying a chimmey sweep to clean 4 feet of flu.

The brush is priced right and is easy to use . It appeared to work well on the the pellet stove chimney, but as the pipe is only 3 in dia it is impossible to tell how clean it is.

I use it to clean out a long dryer vent. It fits easily and grabs ahold of the lint well. Works exactly as I had expected. If you need to clean a dryer vent, I recommend it.

I feel the 20 foot handle is a necessity that I have never found in any other. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a pellet stove. What a difference than any you can find in the stores in this area.

    • Could this be used to clean out a 2.5" ID heavy door track (a pipe
      with a slit in the bottom to allow hangers off rollers holding the door)?
      The track is about 20' long with openings at each end. Are the bristles
      sturdy and rough enough to get caked on dust and sand out of the track?
    • The handle (rod) on this item may not be durable enough to push the brush through a hole smaller than the diameter of the brush. I recommend trying something different like these items; 3'' Round Pellet Stove and Dryer Vent Brush and 5' Poly Rod....Robert
