Creosote remover spray

Jan. 2012 we had a chimney fire. We had to replace the stove and had of course have the chimney cleaned. I was in the market to purchase the best creosote remover I could.I searched the web and found Northline Express. I went into the site and found all types of creosote removers. I chose the Creosote Remover spray, and the every 30 day brick Creosote remover. I was adament about finding something that worked. I have been so impressed with the Creosote spray because having a glass door on the insert it turn black when covered with creosote. I have been spraying the brick inside the stove and the wood, and I use the creosote remover brick every 30 days. I have used the the new insert since last February and the bricks are still white. I spray the whole inside when the fireplace is empty and let it dry into the brick. This product really is the best I have used. I would recommend it to my friends without hesitation. The most important thing is that I can feel comfortable when I go to bed and the fire is still burning,or leaving it if I have to go out. I have 2 dogs that I can leave without worry because "Creosote Remover Spray" has done its job. I am very happy with it and will definately order it again.

Creosote remover spray

Last January I had a chimney fire. Needless to say I had the chimney cleaned. This year I was paranoid about any build up of creosote but our burning season was a short one after the chimney was cleaned. I wanted something to use to keep the chminey as clean as possible until this season was over. I bought the spray and so far everything is fine. I really feel the spray which is sprayed on the wood itself and the inside of of the firebox is doing a great job.The bricks that line the inside of the firebox are still pure white. Between the Creosote spray and the brick once a month I am confident that the chimney is clean and will stay that way until the season is over.

Husband loves the Spray bottle

My husband uses a combination of this and the Safe-T-Flue Chimney Cleaner - 5 lb. It helps keep the Creosote from building up in our stainless steel flue. He loves the pressure behind the sprayer.

Great Stuff! Keeps me off the roof!

I've used this Rutland CR for 10-12 years now, and it's terrific stuff! We've heated our old farmhouse with wood for some 35 years now (with the same 1977 Vermont Castings stove), and I had to sweep my chimney *every month* before discovering this stuff. Now I sweep it once in the Fall and usually once more, in late winter.

I remove the spray head - they're not very good quality any more - and replace it with an old cap from a dishwashing detergent bottle. We squirt a bit on the wood every time we add some to the stove, and there's almost no creosote buildup. Highly recommended!

Good stuff, keeps creosote from forming by reacting with smoke somehow. stove, pipes, and chimney stay much cleaner.

I'm afraid that my review will be a bit one sided since this is the first time I used Liquid Creosote Remover. It seems to be doing a good job of doing what it was made to do. The only other product I have used that compares is Anti-Creo-Soot. I learned of these products from a chimney sweep. I think I prefer the Anti-Creo-Soot, though.
