Ten foot, 1 1/2" wide self adhesive strip insulation forms a smoke and gas tight seal between a fireplace insert and existing masonry fireplace. To obtain best stove performance, replace insulation each time your insert is removed for cleaning. Can also be used to seal fireplace doors to the fireplace.

Second one of these units I have bought in 18 years. The first lasted 18 years before metal fatigue. This new unit was packed very nice and the instructions were clear. The fan makes a little more noise that the previous unit. This is an all around great addition to a wood burning fireplace.
