Be very careful to read this holds ONLY a FACE cord, LESS than 1/2 of a normal cord!

My husband ordered this and being in a hurry missed the fact that this was NOT a rack for a FULL cord but only a FACE cord. It takes THREE face cords to equal a full cord so this rack does not even hold 1/2 of a real cord. When I got the box I talked to Northline and when I read the description myself I realized what had happened. I understand my husband made a mistake and I fully expected we would have to pay shipping to return it; but then I was told they would also charge the cost of them shipping it to us against our refund. It is quite heavy so of course we would have no refund left by the time we actually returned it. This is a terrible value for a rack that holds only 1/3 of a cord of wood! We could've had a rack made at the local machine shop that would've held a full REAL cord for less than this. So be sure you read every bit of fine print and click on every link in their description paragraph.

This rack replaced a Home Depot $50 made in China rack that tipped over this spring. This is my 2nd 96 Woodhaven rack. No comparison with regard to the quality of this rack. MADE IN THE USA IS THE WAY TO GO!

very excited about this rack .. I am not a long time wood rack owner, so I can't compare this to others, but I build plenty of things and this rack seems very well designed and constructed. Assembly is simple and this looks to be a great and solid product. They even supply an extra nut in each kit for example, which is a thoughtful touch - shows their thinking it's so easy to drop one during installation, and it gets lost..so the spare is much appreciated. Have filled it up partially and what can I say - it looks nice, is solid and does it's job!
