The Flue Guard Woodstove Probe Thermometer combines the best features of both the ChimGard and the Flue-Gas thermometers. Autumn colors on the face specify the temperature and three stove operation zones, measuring the temperatures up to 1700° Fahrenheit. The Flue Guard requires you to drill a 1/4 inch hole in your fluepipe.

The Fluegard Stovepipe Thermometer informs you which range you are burning in, so you can keep your stove burning at a safe flue temperature, with just a quick glance at the thermometer. When the front glass gets black the thermometer will read in the Too Cool range. When the carbon on the glass disappears it indicates that the burn range is spot on. And the Too Hot range is key for monitoring high temps and prolonging the life of your burner.

I bought this thermometer for my husbands recently refurbished giant 500lb steel smoker/grill/pig roaster. we drilled a hole and just slid this right in. The temperatures are accurate and easy to read. Looks great on the grill and we are now able to monitor the temperature of our grill!
