None of the hardware stores in my area carried this flat stove gasket, nor did most online sites. NORTHLINE had it for a reasonable price, and it arrived in no time. The gasket itself makes an effective seal on my gasketless stove door when cemented to the flat door surface. It has not yet become brittle after several weeks of high temperature stove use.

I didn't realize that this was a flat braid of fiberglass fibers when I ordered it. I had assumed tape meant it was more of a flat, solid strip of some kind of flexible material. But if you were equipped and prepared to handle the loose fibers that float around while you're working with it and settle all over your work surface, it does do an effective job.

I needede to replace the original gasket around the glass window of my air tight wood stove.
After looking at the various brands, sizes and shapes of these type gaskets, I picked the Grapho-Glas Flat Tape Woodstove Gasket - 5/8 x 84 Long.
It was the right shape and long enough to trim to length and it works great.
It didn't need to be glued and is held in place by the glass once tighted back in place.
I would recommend it.

When from a log an hour to a log every 3 hours. looking like I am going to triple my burn times. NOTE my Timberland wood stove has not had a gasket for years Thanks Northline Express!

We bought gasket material at our local hardware store for our wood stove. After a hot fire it would melt and or deteriorate. We bought this product and it has held up just fine. We heat with a wood stove and our heating season lasts for around 8 months so we need a product that is trustworthy. This seems to fit the bill.

I was very pleased with buying the flat gasket from Northline. Also noticed they carry many types of stove cement that I am anxious to try out. Definitely put Northline in my favorites for all-around-house fixits!
