I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He can easily move logs around in the fireplace and place more wood into it without the risk of being burned. We are very happy with the quality of the gloves. They are thick enough to be protective but do not make it difficult to move your hands freely.

They do keep your fingers from getting too hot. But they do not fit all that well and I have an average size hand. I have only had the gloves for a couple months, so I am not sure how they will do over the long haul, but they fingertips are already getting somewhat stiff. This happened to my last gloves and that I why I had to replace then, they were too stiff to use.

I'm new to having a wood fireplace so was not sure of what items I needed. I ordered these gloves thinking that I would not use them since I already have good fireplace tools. Well, I was wrong. I use them all the time. They are great. I stick my gloved hand into pretty good fires to add wood or move wood around and I never even feel the heat on my hands. I can't rate these high enough. A super product that any fireplace owner should not be without.

These gloves work fine for arranging logs in your firebox as long as you don't plan to keep your hand in there for any extended time. I have a small stove and these are perfect for my needs. Best price on the web, too.

We heat exclusively with a wood stove at our home. This means we spend time tending our stove and require the use of fireplace gloves. HearthX Fireplace Gloves are the best product of this type I have found for heat protection for your hands. These gloves really protect, even to the point of temporary contact with hot embers. They have saved our hands from injury on many occasions. The price and quality are both outstanding and I recommend them highly.

I've just received my first order from Northline. I ordered some fire gloves. I ordered them but also shopped around in retail stores while waiting for my shipment. I saw maybe 3-4 pairs and worried I bought something online that might not be the best quality. Well I opened my package and these gloves are GREAT. they are better quality than ANYTHING I have seen at the retail stores and at a much better price. I am SO happy to be giving them as gifts. I'm putting the catalog in along with the gloves as the gift. Thanks again for the great quality items. You will definitely stay in my list of very favorite on line vendors!
