Pool & Spa Stop Leak

For minor water leaks in swimming pools, spas, fountains, waterfalls and any other body of circulating Pool & Spa STOP LEAK can be effective when used in accordance with the instructions. It may be necessary to add Pool & Spa STOP LEAK more than once depending on the size of the leak involved. For larger pools, it may be necessary to add more than one quart of STOP LEAK each time. Be sure to follow the instructions. STOP LEAK only works to fix small holes in hose and lines, will not fix holes in liners.

Instructions

1. Remove filter grids or cartridges from filter.
2. Fill spa, hot tub, or pool to proper level.
3. With pump operating, slowly add 16 oz. (half the bottle)of the Pool & Spa STOP LEAK to skimmer or as close to main drain outlet as possible.
4. Operate pump for at least 10 hours. Do Not Turn On Heater or Air Blower.
5. Refill pool or spa to proper level and let stand long enough to determine if leak has been stopped.
6. Repeat if necessary.
7. Resume use of pool or spa after proper chemical balance has been achieved.

  I had a nagging leak in my spa for years. I had a repairman look at repairing the leak and the estimate was $1,000, due to the difficulty of getting to the leak, with no guaranty of fixing the leak.
