I tested this unit with the synergized concentrate. I liked the unit and the concentrate, but the time stated on the bottle is not accurate. WE had approx. 3-4 hours before we had to spray again, but I did find it effective.
I was recently helping my friend get her yard ready for a graduation party and was being eaten alive. I ran home and grabbed our new mister and brought it to use in her yard. I set it up however I did things a little differently. I turned the unit on and then wheeled it behind me like a golf bag and sprayed her whole perimeter and it worked. We were both really impressed with how well it worked as we were able to finish setting up for the party and not get eaten alive. Once the guests started arriving they noticed that there was a very limited amount of mosquitoes and were surprised when told what we used since she lives in the woods and backs up to a swamp. I used the mister for 3 days, 1 nice and 2 kind of cool and rainy. The first day was very nice so we cooked out, I sprayed using the natural before we went out and waited 10 min like the manual stated, we were mostly bug free for about 30-45 minutes using the Natural, after that the bugs came back. The next day had been a little rainy so the mosquitoes were out in full force. It was somewhat windy so I placed it so the wind would carry the repellent to my front yard. I sprayed 2 times this time because of the wind, waited 10 min after the second spray and the mosquitoes were a diminished, but came back within 15-20 min., I sprayed again, each time I did the bugs would come back within 15-20 min. I used the naturals concentrate since I have small dogs but perhaps the synergized concentrate would work better.
I used the all clear mister 4000 with the natural concentrate. I knew the mosquitoes were heavy the night I used it because the dragon flies were all over eating them. I used the mister as directed and noticed that the mosquitoes really did not go anywhere. I wanted to try the synergized formula so I ran the mister over and over to use all of the fluid. I can contest that on one 6 hour charge of the battery I was able to mist 30+ times and the battery was still only half drained.
