Condar Combustors are carefully fabricated to precise dimensions, and made with high quality materials. They are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency to save wood fuel, as well as conserve time, money, and our natural resources.
A well-maintained combustor enables woodstoves to operate with safe results by cutting down on creosote formation, which can build up in your stovepipe, causing a dangerous fire hazard. After approximately 12,000 hours or 6 years of stove use, you will notice a significant loss in heating efficiency. At this time, your combustor should be replaced. Condar combustors are guaranteed to contain sufficient catalytic precious metals (platinum and/or palladium) formulated and properly applied to conform to requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for certified wood-burning products, and when installed in USA are warranted for structural integrity for five years or 12,000 hours burn-time, whichever comes first, when correctly installed and maintained. Failure due to incorrect use, including with fuels other than dry natural wood, is excluded.
Remedies Under this Warranty
Condar Company will replace a defective combustor free of charge for the first year following the date of purchase providing the above terms have been met. After the first year, replacement will be at the following rate:
Year 2 -- 35% of original price paid Year 3 -- 50% of original price paid Year 4 -- 75% of original price paid Year 5 -- 90% of original price paid To compute your specifics, multiply the price paid by the factor indicated for that year on the chart above.
