The HomeSaver Air-Insulated Pro Cap is a universal replacement for deteriorating, standard rain cap/spark arrestors that come with factory built chimney systems. The tight, friction-fit installation allows this cap to slip down securely inside the chimney. It is designed to fit virtually any brand of factory-built chimney. Some brands will differ in their inner dimensions by a few fractions of an inch.
The HomeSaver Air-Insulated Pro Cap is constructed of 304 stainless steel and a steel mesh cage to protect your home and chimney against harsh weather conditions and animal invasion. The round top and bottom pieces of the Air-Insulated Cap have a 16" diameter. This diameter, along with the special construction for proper interal venting, allow it to work for either double or triple-wall air-insulated chimneys. This particular cap is factory built for air-insulated chimneys.
The 8 Air-Cooled Weathershield Cap is am outstanding product. It provides a much improved breathing for my furnace and the furnace actually improved in efficiency.

Nice fit and finish, used as a replacement. no problems at all
just what I needed, I did modify it slightly, I put a tin shield around about 1/2 of the top so rain and snow would not blow in as easily. The company was very helpful in finding the item needed, and it was delivered fast. Thanks
