This millivolt safety pilot valve is similar to a standard safety pilot control valve except that you can turn the flame on/off with the hand held remote control. Requires you to only light the pilot with a match once per season. This safety pilot control provides 100% shut off of both the pilot and main burner gas supply in the event of pilot flame failure. If the pilot flame goes out during normal operation, or if there is insufficient pilot flame to provide proper thermocouple output, the gas safety pilot control will close, stopping the flow of gas completely.
This millivolt valve includes millivolt valve and hand-held remote control and is configured for natural gas. For LP installations you will also need the LP Conversion Kit for 18" to 20" sets or LP Conversion Kit for 24" sets. This kit should be installed by a licensed professional.
