A very sturdy, dependable, well built wood carrier. I felt the assembly instructions could have been better detailed esp, for installation of the wood pellet pallet. One must be careful when installing the braces supports so the holes line up on the pallet. The hardware bolts supplied to fasten the pallet to the supports were to short - had to jury rig and supply my own.
Was easy to put together, the large wheels allow directing the cart very manageable. With a bit of pull power it manages to cut through deeper snow. It makes hauling wood to the house alot easier on the back!
This has proven to be one of my best ever investments. Saves wear and tear on my back...useful for hauling anything heavy. Shipping was quick, assembly was a pain...holes in the plywood platform weren't spaced right and bolts were too short as well.
Assembly was fairly easy but the instructions were vague. The pellet pallet would not stay attached to the frame. The threaded cleats pulled off the the bottom of the plywood when tightened. I had to add some 1/4 x 1 bolts with 1 1/8 fender washers on top of the plywood and nylock nuts on the bottom to fix that problem. Total cost: $3.00 Also, I think that I will add a piece of plywood to the handle to keep smaller logs from falling off the back of the cart through the tubing. In spite of that I love this cart. It is high enough that I do not have to bend over time and again to unload the cart at a window near one of my wood stoves. The cart performed tremendously well when I used it to bring wood into another room. It was a snap to pull it up over a raised threshold. I wheeled it right into the room for the first time ever and unloaded it right from the cart. What a time and labor saver!!! I spend a lot less time loading and unloading wood now because of this little gem. I highly recommend it but you will need to modify it slightly to get top performance out of it. The manufacturer should correct the pallet platform problem right away as it will cause a lot of returns and complaints. That would be a shame as the buyers who return this item will be missing out on a great item! I also appreciate the semi-solid tires. No flats to fix or hard-to-find tire replacements. I would recommend this cart to anyone who has to move a lot of wood.
