Bulb Replacement Instructions: Twist off the bottom piece of the unit. Pull out the top portion where the cord is. Pull hard to separate the fan from the light portion. Replace bulb and put back together.

It doesn't catch too many mosquitoes, but it catches other bugs.
cool weather has suppressed insects in N> California...therefore my data is not valid. I will tell you how the dynatrap works in august.
