Keep the birds, raccoons, and leaves out of your chimney. This rugged chimney cap is electro statically treated and finished with high temperature paint for added corrosion resistance. Large openings in the spark screen mesh present less draft restriction than smaller mesh common to other caps, optimizing draft and reducing the chance of creosote blockage.
All HY-C caps are completely assembled and feature welded construction. The rain cap simply attaches to the chimney tile liner using four screws. If your chimneys tile liner does not extend up at least 1" then you will also need the HY-C Leg Kit.
