Our louvered 12" x 14" rectangular register is made of heavy-duty cast iron. It's designed to support heavy floor traffic; and looks great while doing it! It's the perfect choice for use with wood heat to transfer heat from room to room. This floor register requires a 10" x 12" opening in the floor to accommodate the toe operated louvers. Register weighs 17lbs.

The first register arrived damaged and was quickly and painlessly replaced by Northline Express. The register is attractive and solid, but the louvres are very, very difficult to open. I've lubricated the joints and disassembled and re-assembled the register, but I have not been able to figure out how to make the louvres open and close more smoothly. What this means is that we do not open or close them very often.
The product is great and ordering was simple and easy. I would certainly buy from you again or recommend your website to friends.
