This innovative design allows the screen to be used as a standard screen; or bolt it to the hearth so the fireplace is accessible through the operable doors in the front. Adjustable rear legs allow for uneven hearths. This Forged Iron Fireplace Screen is offered in a matte black, but is also available in vintage iron and burnished bronze. I've had the screen for over 2 years and it's been great. The only concern is some fading of the black mesh on the doors. But nothing really noticeable.
Great product! This screen is of super construction NOT at all flimsy, looks great on our hearth and is makes tending a fire easy with no need to move the screen out of the way. We rate it the greatest gift we've ever given ourselves.
