PWR Powered Water Repellent

When you add Powdered Water Repellent (PWR) to your mortar mix you make it waterproof upon drying. PWR breathes, allowing internal moisture to escape but keeping rain and snow out. Just add one ounce of PWR to every 15 lbs. of dry mortar mixture. Mix it thoroughly with the dry ingredients then add water. If you're using PWR to tuckpoint a chimney, by the time you're finished cleaning up, the mortar will be dry enough for you to spray. FlashSeal by SaverSystems seals those pesky leaks around flashings and it's so much easier to work with than tar. Simply prepare the area to be sealed. Next, apply a base coat of FlashSeal compound a few inches up the chimney and on the surrounding roof that is wide enough for the reinforcement fabric (sold separately) to cover it. Then place the reinforcement fabric over the base coat. Apply the topcoat and the job is done! FlashSeal can be applied with a brush. One gallon container covers 28 linear feet. When used with the reinforcement fabric this product is warrantied by the manufacturer for 7 years. Manufacturer recommends product to be stored where temperatures don't go below 40 degrees.
