The design of the IPP E3 Engine incorporates a heavy-duty angled emitter that directs more heat down for greater efficiency.
The IPP-E3 Engine used in the 233000 series heaters is much more efficient than most engines due to the emitter angle and ceramic cone design inside. The ceramic cone forces the flame close to the emitter creating the "glow" needed for these radiant heaters to work.
Most other heaters simply have a burner inside the housing without any means to force the flame near the emitter which reduces the amount of heat output considerably.

Just a note regarding the patio heater I ordered from you. The piece got to my house on Friday, as you promised. It took about two hours to put together, as you said it would. All of the pieces necessary to assemble the unit were there, which is unusual. The quick disconnect was the exact model that I wanted I also have the same model for a natural gas grill that I have. Once I figure out how to put the wheels on, that will be that. Most importantly, the heater works great! Thank you for your patience with all of my questions. I will certainly consult your website for other outdoor supplies that I may need in the future. Regards!
