Replacement filter for Blue Rhino SkeeterVac Mosquito Traps.
How to determine if the filter needs to be replaced:
The most effective way of determining when the filter should be changed is to visually inspect it or test it. A new or little used filter will be a bright brass color. A filter that is dirty and possibly clogged will have a dull and more of a bronze look.
To test the filter, simply disconnect the regulator hose where it connects to the engine. Remove the small filter (about the size of a small pencil eraser). Reconnect the regulator hose to the engine and attempt to start the engine. If the engine starts then shut it down. The filter needs to be replaced. This scenario is assuming that the engine would not start prior to removing the filter.
