Log Holder - Polished Brass

  This is a delightful low-priced and attractive log holder and carrier, once you get it in place. Works beautifully to carry logs, the SECOND strap will fit over the rack and keep the logs off the floor FIRST longer one is to carry with. However, as another review stated, it is TERRIBLY HARD to assemble. You need strength, and perhaps a pair of pliers to crimp the brass so that the pieces fit together. It would appear that the protrusions on the brass which were meant to hold them into place were hammered in wrong to begin with, and therefore keep the pieces from seating properly. Patience and determination will make it work...and once it does, you will be well pleased!

  I like this a lot! The frame was a bit difficult to assemble, but the final product is worth the effort. The capacity is good for my nights and weekend use, and is more rugged than it looks for moderate use in a family room environment.

  I am very satisfied with the product. It is nice looking, just the right size and the perfect functionality I was looking for. My husband had the only problem with it. He hadn't realized that the tubes were separate pieces. When he attempted to move it one day by what looks like brass handles at the very top, the whole thing fell apart.
