Ash Caddy

The purpose of an ash caddy is to create a holding area that allows hot ash to cool down, so it can be properly disposed of later. The ash caddy is located in the floor of the fireplace or firebox, and collects ashes as you burn. Once cooled, the ashes can be accessed and removed.
