The Frontiersman is constructed of heavy gauge, reinforced plate steel with firebrick lining and welded seams to ensure years of flawless service. The Frontiersman features a heavy cast iron door that surrounds an air washed ceramic glass window for a full, unobstructed view of the fire. The wood stove is smoothed over with a satin black finish and accented with pewter trim. The Frontiersman heats up to 1,000 square feet and offers a 102,000 BTU rating, proving its performance stacks up to its beauty.
The Frontiersman Wood Stove features a high speed blower to direct warm air into the room for constant comfort control. It is operated with a toggle on/off switch and requires a 110V outlet to run. The Frontiersman is accessed from the front by a heavy-duty door gasket that provides a strong seal to lock in smoke. The spring handle on the door is designed to remain cool to the touch while the stove is piping hot. The Frontiersman firebox accommodates logs up to 17" in length. It comes full assembled with the exception of the legs and flue collar.
Although the Frontiersman Stove is built for heavy-duty use, it is very flexible and serves many other functional purposes. A simple pot of water or steamer set on the top of the wood stove will humidify your home and just a splash of stove scents added to that water will fill your cabin with delightful aroma. Will need to start with a 12" piece of single-wall,black stove pipe with the crimped end up. You will then need to cut the crimped end off so that the
pipe is now able to accept the next piece of stove pipe with the crimped side down.This unit burns hot enough that any creosote that collects in the pipe will burn off.
