Two handed operation keeps your hands safe while operating. The left hand controls the hydraulic control lever, while the right hand controls the pushbutton switch. The log splitter will freeze with the absence of either hand. Only after both hands release the controls will the log pusher start to return to the starting position. This splitter provides a consistent, convenient, and secure cutting motion everytime.

Product does what I wanted it for. Has a hard time with larger oak and mesquite logs but its only 4 ton. Customer service is excellent.
this is a great splitter although i wish that i had spent more for the larger one.not to say that this is not a great splitter i am happy with it

This is my first log splitter, so I have no comparison, but I love it so far. It is small and light enough for me to move around, but strong enough to easily go thru everything I toss at it without MAJOR knots. I am a disabled 52 yr old woman and I would definitely recommend this to other women.
I'm mostly happy with this product but wish I had gone for the larger unit 8-ton? because I'm running into logs that this splitter can't handle. Other than that, so far, I'm enjoying what it can do.
