This 7-ton 2 speed electric log splitter is WAY heavier built and more powerful than other similarly rated electric firewood splitters.
Two-handed operation keeps your hands safe while operating. The left hand controls the hydraulic control lever, while the right hand controls the pushbutton switch. The log splitter will freeze with the absence of either hand. Only after both hands release the controls will the log pusher start to return to the starting position. This splitter provides a consistent, convenient, and secure cutting motion everytime. The incredibly designed two speed motor provides 4 tons of force at a faster speed and 7 tons at a lower speed with the same single phase motor. The splitting force and speed are governed by the two-stage control lever. Push the lever in the first stage for faster speeds using less splitting force for usual logs or push the lever in the second stage for maximum splitting force at a lower speed to split particularly hard and seasoned logs. These stages can be shifted by simply raising and lowering a lever.

Just used my Woodeze 7 ton,electric log splitter, WHAT FUN! I'm not a real outdoors person but I love to burn in the fire place, so this is a good fit for me, I just love it.
Great machine! Have done 4 cords from maple to white oak. Only design suggestion move button on the motor to the top of the 7 ton unit. It would save a person leaning forward and old backs like mine.

This wood splitter is just perfect for what I needed without the expense of a gas powered one
The WoodEze 7-Ton 2 Speed Electric Log Splitter works quite well. A side panel bent during operation, while only a few hours old and Northline sent a new panel right away. Thinking back on it, I believe the panel bent because I was using a pusher log on some short pieces, which may have jack-knifed into the panel, but I didn't notice it at the time. So, most likely, it was user error, but Northline never even brought up the possibility. Anyway, if you're a homeowner with a few cords to split, here's your machine. I went through two cords of oak with ease. Watch the video - it really is just that easy!
