These heavy-duty plastic cones are molded to fit a standard plastic bottle neck for watering gardens with ease. Each cone features punch-out flow control holes for customization depending on soil type.
Our Aqua Watering Cones are very easy to use; simply cut off 1" of the bottom of a standard plastic soda bottle, remove the cap and ring from the neck of the bottle, and insert the bottle into the soil next to the plant to be watered. Determine soil type: sand, loam or clay. Open the top punch-out holes for sandy soil, the middle holes for loam and the bottom holes for heavy clay. Fill the bottle with water and it's ready to go. When the soil around the cone dries, water is released from the Aqua Cone. This creates a simple and effective automatic watering system, day after day.

Directions
For the Garden
Take six 2-liter soda bottles and cut 1 inch off the bottom of each bottle.
Remove the caps and the rings from the necks of the bottles.
Each Aqua Cone is labeled SAND, LOAM, and CLAY. Use a nail to punch out 2 holes that correspond to your soil type.
Fill the Aqua Cones with clean sand to within 3/4" of the top.
Screw one bottle into the neck of each Aqua Cone.
Insert the assembled Aqua Cone/bottle in your garden soil as close to the plant as possible.
Fill the bottle with water through the open bottom.
For Containers
Use six 12 oz., 16 oz. or 1 liter soda bottles. DO NOT CUT OFF THE BOTTOMS.
Remove the caps and rings from the neck of the bottles.
Each Aqua Cone is labeled SAND, LOAM, and CLAY. Use a nail to punch out the 2 holes at the clay level.
Fill the bottles with water and screw one into the neck of each Aqua Cone.
Insert the assembled Aqua Cone into your hanging basket or container, burying the cone up to the neck of the bottle.
*Not recommended for vacation watering.
