This Fresh Air Adapter is for use with the Osburn 2300 wood burning stove to draw in fresh combustion air. That fresh air source can be a hole in the floor near the rear of the stove - terminating into a ventilated crawl space, or a hole in the wall behind the stove. Flexible pipe attaches to the inlet at the rear of the stove and to the outside source to supply combustion air to the fire. Kit includes oval outlet plate, restriction plate, and two screws
For a mobile home installation the stove must be connected to an outside source of combustion air. A 5” inside diameter metallic pipe, either flexible or rigid, may be attached to the inlet at the stove’s rear. A rodent guard (minimum ¼” wire mesh) must be used at the terminus. All connections must be secured and airtight by either using the appropriately sized hose clamp and/or UL-181-AP foil tape.
